Extinction Rebellion, or XR, is a non-violent environmentalist movement founded by Roger Hallam and Gail Bradbrook.
Motto: "Rebel for life"
The goal of XR is to avoid: losing biodiversity, and ecological collapse. Many people don't realize that they are doing something good.
Although they are being rebellious, they are doing something good. XR was founded back on October 31, 2018. The movement is worldwide, with figures such as George Monboit, the author of 'Feral', or even the founder of this website, Jacob Ma, is acting in name of Extinction Rebellion. For people born after 1990, Extinction Youth is also available, with members as young as 10 years old. The logo is a circle with two triangles inside.
